Design and Build Quality

At first look, the Realme C11 may not stand out from other budget smartphones in terms of design. However, upon closer inspection, you can see it has a sturdy build with a plastic back panel and frame. The device is available in two colors – Rich Green and Rich Grey, both of which give off an understated but elegant vibe.

The phone feels comfortable to hold due to its curved edges and lightweight build. It also comes with a water-drop notch display on the front, giving it a modern touch. Overall, while the design may not be groundbreaking, it is functional and well-built for a budget smartphone.

Display

The Realme C11 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. While this display may be better in sharpness and color accuracy, it works well for day-to-day usage. The screen is bright enough for indoor use but may struggle under direct sunlight.

The device also has a Night Mode feature that reduces blue light emissions to minimise eye strain during night-time usage. Overall, the display is decent for a budget smartphone, but don’t expect it to blow you away with its quality.

Performance

The Realme C11 runs on MediaTek’s Helio G35 processor, specifically designed for budget smartphones. It is paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM, depending on your chosen variant. I have the 3GB variant, and it performs smoothly for everyday tasks like browsing, social media usage, and light gaming.

However, when it comes to heavy games or multitasking between multiple apps, the device may need help. Overall, the performance is decent for a budget smartphone in this price range.

Battery Life

One of the standout features of the Realme C11 is its massive 5000 mAh battery. It easily lasts me through a full day of moderate usage with some juice left at night. The device also supports reverse charging, which means you can use it as a power bank to charge other devices.

However, the downside to such a large battery is that it takes some time to fully charge – around 3 hours with the included 10W charger. If you’re someone who constantly forgets to charge their phone overnight, this may be a deal-breaker for you.

Camera

The Realme C11 sports a dual-camera setup on the back – a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera performance is average at best and struggles in low-light conditions. However, under ideal lighting, the pictures turn out decent, with good detail and color accuracy.

One thing I liked about the camera is its dedicated Night Mode, which improves low-light shots significantly. The front-facing 5MP camera also does an okay job for selfies and video calls.

Software

The device runs on Realme UI based on Android 10, which is clean and easy to navigate. Realme UI also has handy features like Digital Wellbeing, Dark Mode, and App Cloner. However, the device does come with some pre-installed bloatware that you may want to uninstall.

Pros

  • Sturdy build quality
  • Decent display
  • Smooth performance for everyday tasks
  • Massive battery life with reverse charging
  • Dedicated Night Mode for improved low-light photography
  • Clean and user-friendly software experience

Cons

  • Average camera performance, especially in low-light conditions
  • Takes a long time to charge the battery fully
  • Pre-installed bloatware

Conclusion

The smartphone that offers decent features and performance at an affordable price. It may not have any standout features, but it works well for day-to-day usage. If you need a reliable phone for essential tasks without breaking the bank, then the Realme C11 is worth considering.
